Looking for a Pharmacy Intern in this Admixture role. The position assists the pharmacist with sterile product preparation, preparing and distributing medications, maintaining medication inventory, customer service and patient records. The position acts as the pharmacy liaison to physicians and nurses in matters pertaining to medication preparation and delivery, Pyxis oversight, and problem solving. The position works only under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assists with project planning and implementation. Looking for a Pharmacy student.

Hours are st shift. Hours vary and will be discussed upon interview.

Minimum Qualifications:

Meets all current State of Illinois licensing requirements for a Pharmacy Technician as specified in the Pharmacy Practice Act.

Mathematically able to calculate dosages

2 years Certified Pharmacy Technician experience preferred

Skills in Chemo and TNA preparation, medication order understanding and computer entry preferred

Understanding of legal requirements and regulatory standards of care
