Description
OVERVIEW The Nurse Manager serves as a role model for professional excellence in the administration and delivery of patient care. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Nurse Manager is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of staff, patients, departmental and organizational needs. The responsibilities include 24-hour accountability for day-to-day management and long term planning of the department. The Nurse Manager is accountable for the age groups as defined in the scope of care. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE BSN Current State Illinois Registered Nurse License Minimum of 3 years critical care or emergency nursing experience. Previous nursing management experience preferred. Strong organizational, verbal and written skills. CPR or ACLS
