Cold Production Worker

Prepares and mixes ingredients for juices, fruit, vegetables and meat salads, prepare bakery products for cafeteria. Prepare salad ingredients for salad bar, cold salad entrees, (when on menu). Replenish salad bar as needed through the shift. Assist catering person in preparation of food for catering events and hospital special functions. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Must record food temperatures. Works on tray-line during meal periods. Over time may be required during peak times and special functions. Scheduled days are Monday-Friday and every other weekend.
Ability to read and write English, comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and recipes.
Ability to perform simple math calculations
Ability to follow recipes and know special diet restrictions
Knowledge of HACCP-Food Borne Illness Prevention, Temperature control, sanitation dating, and food proper storage)
Serve-safe Certification preferred
Ability to function as a team player
