The Concierge shall deliver the highest level of customer service to all guests of Midwestern Regional Medical Center. Concierge will be asked to greet all visitors warmly and professionally; assist with their luggage handling; escort patients and caregivers, when appropriate, to their destination; answer their questions/inquiries and send them in the right direction. Concierge will be stationed in the Front Lobby. This individual must possess general knowledge of Zion and the surrounding areas, including Milwaukee and the Chicagoland area. Upon request, he/she will be asked to provide patients and caregivers information about weekend activities, local restaurants and “things to do” in the area. This position shall consistently demonstrate service excellence according to CTCA Standards. Position also includes support to team lead in ordering supplies, creating documents, graphs etc.
High School graduate or equivalent
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized with ability to multitask is necessary to succeed in this role
Familiarity with hospital codes, evacuation routes, safety & hazard regulations
Basic typing/keyboard skills
Familiarity with local activities and surrounding points of interest
Professional demeanor and the ability to interact with various people
Self-starter with exemplary attendance record
Possess the ability to assist individuals who may be unable to assist themselves (wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, luggage etc.)
Must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Basic Computer Skills, and Basic Office Equipment
