To ensure smooth operations of the laboratory and ultimately provide fast and accurate laboratory results in order to provide the best in patient care. Also, supervises, coordinates and participates in daily laboratory functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Hematology.

Other attributes: Professional demeanor, effective collaboration and communication skills ensuring team work with co-workers, nursing staff and physicians. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Excellent team building and problem solving skills. Experience in Flow Cytometry.

Preferred Attributes: Certification: MLS (ASCP) or equivalent. Supervisory experience and graduate degree in Medical Science, Laboratory Science or related field.
