Job Description:

Hospital Lab experience including blood bank

Eligible for $3000 sign on for certified MLT or MT, 2 yrs exp

Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm

Performs collection, processing, and assists in infusion of Cell Therapy products. Performs patient and quality control testing and maintenance of equipment in Blood Bank/Transfusion Services department. Serves as a back-up for Point of Care responsibilities. Understands the theory behind each of the procedures performed and assists in decision-making and troubleshooting. Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor/Director.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, or related field.


Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Hospital laboratory setting including blood bank

Certification: MLS (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.

Other attributes: Professional demeanor, comfortable working at patient’s bedside for the duration of collection and infusion of stem cell products. Extremely flexible to accommodate patients’ needs and physicians’ demands. Effective collaboration and communication skills ensuring teamwork with co-workers, nursing staff, and physicians
