Hours: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm

Job Summary:

The Clinical Administrative Assistant manages all aspects of Ellucid, the policy management system. This position also provides support to all aspects of the Education department and the Magnet Program Re-accreditation journey.

System Administrator for Ellucid Policy Management System: training, assigning competencies, adding new stakeholders to the system, monitor overdue policies and sending reminders, assisting stakeholders with questions, adjusting formatting to finalized policies prior to review go live. Education Coordinator: assembles teaching materials, submit all appropriate IS access tickets for all new clinical stakeholders (based on position) and nursing students, coordination of Care Provider Orientation (clinical orientation) and nursing student orientation. Manages Classroom reservation and equipment/supply. maintenance, manage logistics and support for classroom needs, including video conference calls, greeting any guest speakers, and technical classroom issues. Prints any educational materials for the course and manages attendance sheets from events. Maintain Educational Library. Prints and distributes course flyers to nursing units and submits them to Daily Connections for dissemination and engagement. Magnet Accreditation Support: Administrative Support for Magnet Journey. Joint Commission Survey: Maintain and Organize all documents/policies needed for TJC Survey, Assist Executive Admins with onsite logistics.

Minimum requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication or healthcare related highly desired

  • 2 yrs exp as Administrative Assistant

  • A minimum of three years in the healthcare quality field

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Office computer programs including word-processing, Excel, and Power point

  • Excellent Organizational and Prioritization Skills.
